Latics’ winger Gevaro Nepomuceno scored his first goal for the club in the 5-1 hammering of Northampton Town on Saturday. He explained that the team is full of confidence after recent results.
He commented, “I’m happy for the team, for myself and the fans that we won again and got three points. Of course it was my goal, I saw Doyle chipped the keeper but it was too short, I was between two defenders and just tapped it in. Before today’s game and the five goals we were already confident so I think we will have more and more confidence now. If you see from outside, we are a great team and I am happy with the team and everybody.”
