New fixtures out

The Football League has now released the fixtures for the new League One games and the Latics will visit Luton Town on August 7th. in their first game of the new season. Boundary Park will welcome Wrexham, Walsall and the new franchise team Milton Keynes Dons (formerly Wimbledon FC) in August and the Latics will also visit Sheffield Wednesday and newly promoted Hull City in the same month.

In September the team visit Tranmere and Doncaster and entertain Hartlepool and Colchester. Tranmere come to Boundary Park on New Years Day and Hull City will visit Oldham on Easter Monday. Huddersfield will have to wait until December 11th. to make the short trip over the Pennines with the return leg on February 26th. Other notable games are the visit of Colin Hendry's Blackpool on October 9th. with the return leg at the seaside scheduled for January 8th.

The Latics will visit local side Stockport on October 30th. and will welcome them to the return game on February 19th. at Boundary Park. Bring on the season!
