It has been revealed that the Latics are in talks to sign AFC Fylde striker Danny Rowe. He is 29 years old and has always had an ambition to play in the Football League. Rowe, the club's all-time leading scorer, was placed on the transfer list after he expressed his intention to leave when his contract expires in the summer.
There is no doubting that the Latics need to bolster a puff powder attack and head coach Dino Maamria is keen to sign Rowe who has scored six goals, so far, this term.
