The Latics are in the process of upgrading their training facilities. Based at Chapel Road, the facilities have been heavily critisized by several former managers.
Modulek are in talks regarding the building a new training pavilion at the training ground which will allow the players to be based at the one venue throughout the whole season. Modulek are well respected and have worked with clubs like Bournemouth and Wolves.
