Nothing game should be exciting

The Latics take on Sheffield United at Boundary Park tonight and, with both sides having nothing to play for, manager Lee Johnson is predicting an exciting encounter.

He said, “It's a home game for us so we want to take the game to them. I know Nigel Clough well and he will want to win but we want to keep our run going. He's picked up some real momentum since he took over so he will want to take that into next season and win the game. From what I learned last year, you've got to get your team really early if you can. There is a lot of interesting plans going forward but it's one I'm looking forward to.”
