O'Halloran deal extended

Matt O'Halloran has been offered a further one month non-contract deal at Boundary Park after Iain Dowie was given approval by administrators PKF. The deal will be O'Halloran's third short term deal with the club after being released by Derby County in the summer.

O’ Halloran was delighted with the deal and said, “I'm glad I've got the extra month. Hopefully, if things go well and the takeover happens sooner rather than later, it can turn into something more permanent because I have certainly enjoyed my time here. I'd been at Derby for four years and then went on loan to Burton Albion and that's the only 1st team experience I'd had. I then went back to Derby and unfortunately with the financial situation there, things didn't work out and in the summer I was fretting a bit to be honest. I went to Grimsby and Hartlepool over the summer and then managed to come here and get things sorted which was great. This is my first experience of 1st. team football in the Football League and I think I've done well. I feel I've still got more to offer and I've certainly enjoyed it.”
