One in, one out on transfer deadline day

At the second attempt Delroy Facey has signed a contract with Oldham Athletic. The Hull forward had previously rejected a contract with Athletic to the end of next season, but accepted it after being told by Hull he has no future there. Before signing Facey had been on loan at fellow League One side Huddersfield Town. Latics chief executive Alan Hardy managed to contact the Football League with the good news at 4.58pm, just seconds before the 5.00pm deadline of registering players. Unfortunately Delroy won't be able to make an immediate impact at Athletic. As he signed after 12 noon, he cannot play until the MK Dons fixture on April 2nd.

Meanwhile, the player out is Danny Boshell, who agreed to join local League Two side Bury on loan for the rest of this campaign. Danny has played 20 times for Latics this season, scoring once, but fell out of favour with Brian Talbot (join the club) who called Boshell "a legend in his own mind".

Now Moore can put his feet up as the transfer deadline has now passed. He should have enough personnel now to avoid the drop. Fingers crossed!
