The Latics have been dealt a body blow with the loss of Matt Palmer who has been recalled by Burton Albion after the completion of his his loan spell.
Palmer made 14 appearances and has impressed with his performances; he also scored the match winner against Blackpool
He now returns to the Pirelli Stadium to help in Albion's fight for promotion to the Championship.
