Paul Edwards is the latest

Paul Edwards is the latest in the long list of players that Ronnie Moore is gathering together. Some people collect stamps, but the way that Moore is building his squad for next season indicates that a new hobby of “player collecting” could soon be introduced.

Edwards is a free agent but he impressed the Latics administration when he scored against Oldham for Blackpool in their last visit to Bloomfield Road.

Paul told the official site, “Boundary Park is a great venue, and the club has a great ambition. When I was playing for Wrexham Ronnie Moore tried to sign me. Now as luck would have it I have ended up following him to Boundary Park. I am delighted to be here with him. I just want to have a good pre-season, get myself sharp and get my crosses in. Basically I feed the strikers to score the goals.”
