Danny Philliskirk has signed a new two-year contract extension at Boundary Park with the option of a further year. Philliskirk finished the season as top scorer and returned to the club after leaving as a teenager in what was to be a plum move to Chelsea. After Chelsea he had spells at Sheffield United and Coventry but struggled to make an impact on their first teams.

Manager Lee Johnson said, “He’s done really well and I’ve been pleased with him this season. We are still speaking to several players at the moment and we have got lots of decisions still to make.”
