Player boost for FA Cup game

Three players could be back from injury to face Nigel Clough’s Burton Albion in Saturday’s FA Cup tie. Lee Duxbury (pictured), Julien Baudet and Clyde Wijnhard are all in contention for a place with Duxbury having the best chance to be fit enough to gain a starting spot.

Duxbury is recovering from a calf problem, Wijnhard is making his way back from knee surgery and Baudet has missed five games with a hamstring injury. As defender Fitz Hall is suspended, Baudet could step in to fill his spot.

Other good news for Iain Dowie is that Wayne Gill, Chris Killen and Will Haining all came through a reserve game at Halifax this week without problems, which is another bonus for his team plans.
