Players must bounce back in style

John Sheridan has asked his players to bounce back in style at Northampton and to put the misery of the Bristol City game out of their heads. He told the official website, "Obviously Bristol was a very big game for us, and it was very disappointing. I'll hold my hands up. We just didn't perform on the day and the lads know that. I've seen the goals again on the video and they were sloppy. We didn't deserve anything from the game. That's done and dusted now though, and we need to concentrate on getting a result on Sunday to stay with the leaders."

"Northampton's new manager has come in and got them organised, and they're working hard for each other. They're a side that score lots of goals at home, and I didn't think they were a bad team even though we beat them 3-0 at home. They had a couple of decent players. Northampton are in good form and this will be a very difficult game, but we've been playing well away from home. It's important we forget Bristol. We've bounced back from bad results on a few occasions, and the sign of a good team is how they react to defeat. The lads have been told that they must do better than they did against Bristol."
