Richie Wellens, Chris Porter, Will Haining, Stefan Stam and Matt Wolfenden have been given until the weekend to accept or reject the current contracts on offer. Wolves have been showing interest in Wellens (pictured), and Porter's name is being linked with such a long list of clubs that it's becoming a joke.Simon Corney is keen to get things sorted out quickly so that he can plan for next season. He said, "I think we'll know what's happening by Thursday or Friday. None of the players concerned had any obligation to make a decision before now, but we are reaching the stage where they need to sort out what they are doing. Once we know, we'll have a much clearer idea of which areas we need to strengthen and how the budget for new players is going to work out. In a way it's frustrating when things are slightly on hold, but it hasn't stopped us planning ahead for next season."
