Assistant manager Tommy Wright (pictured) has been watching a Polish midfielder on a recent scouting trip and he is hoping to bring him to Boundary Park so that Athletic can take an extended look at the 20 year old..Wright said, "Poland has become quite a popular place for finding players, although it can be difficult to get them away from their clubs. I saw a couple of decent players when I was over there, and we would like to bring one lad in particular over here."
"I'm not saying anything would definitely would come of it, but he did very well and is well worth looking at again. It's awkward because the season in Poland is still going on, but we are in contact with agents and we'll do what we can."
