Porter hopes to be fit

Chris Porter has been having treatment on his injured knee since last weekend and is making enough progress to consider being fit enough to keep his place in the team for Saturdays game against Brighton. Porter said, “My knee has eased up in the last couple of days. I've definitely got a chance for Saturday.”

If Porter doesn't recover in time it is likely that Chris Hall would come in as his replacement. The other option would be for Andy Liddell to move in from the wing.
