Athletic continue their pre-season build up with 'behind closed doors' games at Stockport on Friday and Middlesborough on Saturday. It will give boss Ronnie Moore another chance to assess the potential of Andy Todd who is currently on loan from Hucknall Town. Todd impressed on the Latics recent tour of Ibiza when he scored a hat trick against San Jose, the Spanish part timers. Todd currently has a job at a Nottingham health centre and has to get time off work to continue his trial.Goalkeeper Joe Murphy (pictured) who is on trial from West Brom has returned to the Hawthorns for treatment. Murphy could only manage 20 minutes of the Wycombe game before having to retire but he will be back to continue his trial when he is back to full fitness.
