Pre-match talk

Carrying on from Ronnie Moore's "No more Rotherhams" build up to the end of the season, he went on to give a pre-match talk about Saturdays McFranchise FC game to the official site. Moore said, "They are having a torrid time at the moment and we know it is going to be far from easy. Their performances are far better than the results they have been getting and the lads know they are in for a tough one. I watched them lose 3-1 at Port Vale on Tuesday when they didn't play particularly well. But the week before they battered Brentford and finished up losing 1-0. That's how it goes when you are down there and we have to be on our guard and make sure we go out and do the right things. This is their last chance. They are seven points adrift of safety and can't afford to lose while we need to win to make sure we stay in the top six. It looks like it is going to be a cracking game. We have started to play well throughout the side and looked a little more relaxed in games. We are also creating chances."

"Forest are doing well at the moment and I spoke to Doncaster chairman John Ryan who believes they are also in with a chance. We have to keep winning games and if we do that we will be okay. We don't need help from anybody now. We needed help earlier in the season but now it is in our own hands and it is up to us to get out of the division. We are in the top six and if we win are games we stay there, simple as that. The lads have worked really hard, each and everyone of them, to put us in a great position and we must make sure we don't falter during the run-in. We have lifted the hopes of everyone who follows Oldham. Let's try to live the dream because it will be brilliant if we can get there. We have to go out and do what everyone wants, and that is to get this club promoted. If we can win our four homes games we will be there are thereabouts, but we will be aiming to win all the six that are left."
