Jason Price, the 33-year-old currently on loan at the Latics from Millwall is to remain at Boundary Park for the remainder of the season. His one month loan deal expires this Saturday and Kenny Jackett has approved an extension to the deal.
He said, "I don't know whether the paperwork has gone through but I spoke to the Oldham manager and in principle he has agreed to stay there until the end of the season. We obviously changed things around a little bit by bringing in Shaun Batt and Jon Obika, so when Jason went it was co-ordinated with those two coming in. I don't think we are going to go any further than that in terms of bringing people in unless there are injuries or a big loss of form. Jason was not getting as much football as a senior player should and Oldham was his preferred choice."
