Prices reduced

After an online survey with the Latics’ faithful the club have opted to reduce the admission fees for entry at Boundary Park. The club have listened to concerns and have acted to make the Latics ticket prices the lowest in League One for a trial period. Adult supporters who buy a ticket in advance will now be able to purchase for just £15. If supporters turn up on the day of the match they will pay a reduced price of £20.

The new pricing policy comes into effect for the home game against AFC Wimbledon on 12th. November and will continue through the home matches with Peterborough United, Southend United, Port Vale and Gillingham.

Following the trial period, the club will review its effect from a revenue perspective. They hope that the experiment has no adverse effect on the club’s income as the gate receipts are important and they also need to ensure that the reduction in price is financially viable. It’s a great gesture by the club but now it needs to be publicised around the ground and throughout the town to help spread the word, if it is to be successful.
