Referee Peter Walton has promised to study the sending off of Julien Baudet at Swindon Town last Saturday. Baudet was given a red card, for a professional foul, after hauling back Danny Invincible near the halfway line. Athletic are arguing the point that Dean Holden was covering and would have caught Invincible before he reached the goal. Walton will study the incident on video before submitting his report to the Football Association. A suitable outcome will mean that Baudet will miss a one match ban.
