Richards' transfer could be a windfall

Real Madrid are rumoured to be putting in a bid for Manchester City's Micah Richards. Their boss, Jose Mourinho, is reported to prefer the 24-year-old right-back over Inter’s Maicon.

If the move materialises, a 10 million Euro price tag has been mentioned, it could mean that a 20% sell-on clause could translate to a cash windfall of more than £1.5m. for the Boundary park coffers.

Rumours however, from the fans, suggest that a deal has already been struck with the Premiership Champions to buy out the clause but only time will tell, that's if the deal goes through.
