Ricketts battles for fitness

Michael Ricketts is battling with fitness to be ready for the game against Southend United, one of his old teams. The striker had to sit out the last two games with a groin injury but he hopes to be available for selection for the Boundary Park clash on Saturday.

Competition from Craig Davies and Lee Hughes, who finishes his one-week suspension, as well as Matty Wolfenden, will be tough. Wolfenden will want to continue his first team experience after hitting the winning goal at Accrington in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game.
