David Dunn has put pen to paper on a one year deal to extend his playing career at Boundary Park. Dunn has not been training pre-season so may take some time to get up to speed but Darren Kelly expects him to eventually take a leadership role at the club.

Other clubs had also shown interest and, as the former Blackburn Rovers legend holds a UEFA coaching qualification, he is expecting to eventually move into management.
