Shez - Post Yeovil

Latics manager John Sheridan we very disappointed that his team came away from Huish Park, Yeovil with nothing to show for their efforts. The loss was the first time that his team had tasted defeat in nine outings.

Shez told the official site, "We definitely should have got something out of the game. There was only one team in the game in the second half, and there wasn't much between us in the first. I'm disappointed with their winner, it was a soft goal, and that we didn't get anything from the game. Warney (Paul Warne) should have possibly hit the target with his chance, and we created pretty much all the chances in the game, especially second half. We stepped it up second half, so at least the lads gave something, although I was a bit disappointed with their first-half showing. I still don't think we've played a team better than us this season. We've come here and matched Yeovil, and they're in the top three. The lads have got to be positive going into next week's home game. It's important that we get on another run."
