Shez alters pitch size

John Sheridan has wasted no time in rederessing the decision of Ronnie Moore to reduce the pitch size at Boundary Park. Sheridan has decided that the playing area of Boundary Park be restored back to its original size.

As a result, one metre on each side of the pitch will be added. One wonders if the extra width will result in wingers being reintroduced at the Latics. Oh for a return to the days of players like Rick Holden. The future is blue - help paint it!
