The Latics boss has called for continued support by the travelling army who have been described a "different class" on may occasions this season. Shez is asking the fans to remain behind his players when they travel to Bloomfield Road on Saturday for part two of the semi-final play-offs.

1,800 noisy Latics fans will pack the away end at Blackpool and Shez said, "We've got to go there and win the game, but I'm not getting down about it as we've been excellent for most of the season. Yes, we wanted to take something to Blackpool and I'm very disappointed we've not been able to do that but we're still in with a chance and I'm keeping positive. Of course the lads are all very upset, but we still think we can go there and win as the deficit is only one goal. We will have to go there and take the game to them as the home team. We'll see what happens."

"Everything's still to play for. I need the fans to stay with us. I know they're disappointed but never say die. I hope Blackpool get over-confident as then they could fall flat on their faces."
