Latics manager John Sheridan admitted that his team would be in for a tough game when they entertain Millwall at Boundary Park today. He said, "Millwall are on a good run, and Willie's got them working very hard. They've got one or two players who've performed at a higher level, and are a big club for this division. We enjoyed the win at Swansea but now we've got to focus on the task in hand. If we can keep winning then I think we'll find ourselves in a good position come the end of the season."

"It'll be a very difficult game, as they all are. We'll have to earn the right to get the three points. Just because we're top of the league that doesn't mean we're unbeatable. We'll need to work very hard in order to win the game. Obviously we've got a few players out, but at the end of the day I'll just be working with those who are available and trying to get the best out of them. I'll go with the strongest team I've got, and I'm confident those who are coming in will do a good job. Craig Rocastle played very well last week, so hopefully he will stay on top of his game because it's no use only performing to that standard once. And though Stammy has been upset at not being in the team, he did a good job before he got injured. Now his chance has come again."
