Shez hopes to keep Hazell

The club are currently in talks with defender Rueben Hazell regarding an extension to his current deal at Boundary Park. Hazell was taken on a one month deal and has impressed by establishing himself as a regular first team centre back.

The 28 year old has formed a useful partnership alongside Sean Gregan and manager John Sheridan is keen to keep the former Chesterfield player. Hazell has made five appearances for the Latics and has already expressed a desire to stay at the club.
