John Sheridan is looking for nothing less than three points as Athletic look to recover from their disappointing last minute loss at Bristol Rovers in midweek. Yeovil are without an away win in six games and the Latics boss aims to make it seven.

He told Latics World, "The most important thing is winning the game on Saturday. We've got to go out believing. I know we can do it. Bristol was disappointing and having seen the results a win would have put us in a great position, but we've got a great opportunity to put things right on Saturday. There's still a lot to play for and you can see that in the results in this division week in, week out. We've got belief and we need to win games and win them early, otherwise we'll find ourselves struggling. I have to be very careful we don't get sucked into the relegation area because that can still happen if we don't win games."

"I just think we've been creating more chances. We certainly did that against Carlisle and in the second half against Gillingham. If you're creating chances eventually one will go in, and we've got to carry on taking the game to people at home and creating those opportunities to try and get the game won as early as possible. Mark Crossley played very well down there and we were lucky to get a point that day. Yeovil have a good manager and had a great season last year so they will be believing they should be doing well again this season."

"Yeovil are a similar side to ourselves in many respects as they will be thinking they can still make the play-offs with a decent run because someone always drops out. We beat them here last year and the year before, so let's hope we can make it three on the spin. Yeovil have players who've been there and done it, like Lloyd Owusu, Marcus Stewart and Warney. They know what's required and that's an area I'm lacking in a little bit. We've got lots of energy but we've just got to learn how to use it. We did that against Carlisle and our energy and fitness won us the game. I've said it before and I'll say it again, consistency is the key, players can't just switch on and off."
