Shez relishing the thought of semis

John Sheridan is relishing the thought of two mouth-watering sell out semi-final games against Lancashire neighbours Blackpool. Blackpool are very much the in-form team but the formbook now goes out of the window and it's down to whoever adapts themselves best on the day.

Sheridan told the official website, "They're going very well, and are the team no-one will want to play but bring it on. We'll play anyone that's left and we're hitting a bit of form now. We should have beaten them at their place and we were the better side for an hour here until one goal won the game. It's a fantastic derby game and I'm really looking forward to it. The fans deserve it."

"Reaching the play-offs is a fantastic achievement for me, my staff, the players and everyone connected with the club. It's probably happen earlier than expected, but we've got a lot of people to thank for that. The owners for example, have looked after me every time I wanted to sign a player. Now we have to believe we can get to the Championship. I want people to start taking note of Oldham Athletic again."
