Sidney Schmeltz has joined Shrewsbury Town on loan for the remainder of this season. The 24-year-old has played 23 games for Athletic this season and scored his only goal against Shrewsbury in the JPT trophy.
Manager Lee Johnson commented, “Sidney would have found opportunities for regular games hard to come by, so it’s for the best for all parties for him to go to Shrewsbury and play football. We of course wish him all the best for his loan spell.”
