Six of Athletic's out-of-contract players are to be offered new deals. Club captain Reuben Hazell, Cedric Evina, Filipe Morais, Paul Black, Deane Smalley and Phillip McGrath are all being requested to remain at Boundary Park. Paul Dickov is also keen to keep Jean-Yves M'voto after he completed a very successful season-long loan from Sunderland, and the Latics have confirmed they will make an offer to M'voto who will become a free agent this summer.

Players on the move out of Boundary Park include out-of-contract Lewis Alessandra, Ritchie Jones, Rod McDonald, Josh Ollerenshaw and Andy Todd who not be offered new deals. Striker Reuben Reid, who joined from West Brom in January, will not be exercising the option of an extended deal.
