Smith offered extension

Ben Smith has been offered a 3 month extension to his current contract. The midfielder has yet to start a match for Athletic but the offer has been made to enable Mick Wadsworth and Iain Dowie to have more time to assess the player. The extension will see Smith remain at Boundary Park until the end of September.
