Latics' midfielder Korey Smith scored only his second goal for the club with the equaliser at Orient on Tuesday night.

Obviously delighted with the lob shot he commented, "I caught it perfectly on my foot and it was a really nice connection. I was really buzzing for the team when it went in. It was nice to get my second of the season. I'd like to add more to my game so it was nice to get more but the most important thing really was that it was a very valuable point. We came into the game believing that we could win it. I feel in the last couple of weeks we've really come together. The fans have got behind us and the whole club have been fantastic. We've been working hard over the last couple of months and it's starting to show now in our performances."

"We're three games unbeaten now. We came to third in the division and we've performed really well and that's the most important thing. I'm trying to manage my injury at the moment and I'm not training as much as usual but I'm getting out there for the games as much as I can to help the team."
