The Latics have continued the latest spending spree as winger Gevaro Nepomuceno has signed a one-year contact with the option of a further year, subject to international clearance, with the Latics. He began his career with FC Den Bosch in the Netherlands before moving to Fortuna Sittard. He then joined FC Petrolul Ploiești in Rumania and stayed a year before signing for CS Marítimo in the Portugese Primeira Liga. Nepomuceno has represented Curaçao 29 times and has scored four goals for his country.
