Statement from PTB

The independent fans group, Push The Boundary, are proposing a food, drink and programme boycott in an attempt to force the current owner to have more communication with the fans. The following statement was issued on Monday 23rd December 2019:

"We feel we are left with no option but to proceed with a full food, drink and programme boycott within Boundary Park for all home games for the foreseeable future. As a group, we respect people’s views on whether to take part in this boycott or not, but we would encourage participation in order to send a message to the custodian of our football club that by ignoring and treating fans, staff and ex players with contempt in the manner in which he has, fans will, as they currently are, voting with their feet.

A reduction in fans through the turnstiles will impact the club directly in terms of its finances and this boycott will highlight this in a more tangible way. It is also bringing our plight to the attention of more football fans, something we feel is necessary. We will release more details as each home game approaches to remind people as well as highlight the issues to visiting fans that visit Boundary Park, including alternative venues to obtain food and drink around the football stadium."
