Dale Stephens, the Athletic midfield player currently on loan at Rochdale will be staying at Spotland for a third month. Stephens has made two appearances as substitute for the Dale and he scored a goal in the game against Morecambe. Athletic have a 24-hour recall clause in his loan in case of emergencies at Boundary Park.
