Athletic have signed 24 year old striker Wayne Andrews from non-league Chesham United. Andrews was out of contract and has scored 26 goals and has therefore arrived on a free.

He played 28 league matches for Watford, scoring four goals, and had loan spells at Cambridge and Peterborough where he scored four goals on his debut
against Barnet. His career began at St. Albans then he moved to Aldershot before joining Chesham last summer in a £3,000 transfer.

Andrews has signed a one-year deal with the option of another year. Alan Hardy said, “If Wayne is anything like the success Fitz Hall has been so far we will be delighted.” Defender Fitz Hall was also signed from Chesham
