Striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro has signed a short-term deal at Boundary Park.
He is another player who has been training with the Latics and he is 34 years old.
Born in France, Akpro has played in England for Grimsby Town, Rochdale, Tranmere Rovers, Shrewsbury and Barnet.
