Taylor out of Leeds clash?

Chris Taylor could be out of tonight's clash with league leaders Leeds United at Boundary Park. He has suffered another setback with his ongoing troublesome pelvic injury. With leading scorer Pawel Abbott still absent it was hoped that Taylor could have linked up with on-loan Doncaster striker Paul Heffernan who will make his debut in the game. It was hoped that the new striking partnership would be capable of improving on the dismal scoring record of late. The Latics have mustered just two goals in the last five matches.

If Taylor does not get to start, Heffernan could partner Nick Blackman or Ryan Brooke up front while midfielder Alex Marrow could return after illness. Reuben Hazell who picked up an injury in the defeat at Walsall, and had to retire from the game, should be fit enough to earn a recall alongside Sean Gregan.
