Chris Taylor is back at Boundary Park after signing a loan deal from Bolton Wanderers. The 30-year-old former player will remain with the club until the end of the season. Taylor came through the youth system at the Latics and scored 35 goals in more than 250 appearances and has played under John Sheridan before during his seven year stint with the Latics.
Sheridan commented, “I’m very pleased to get Chris, I know him and he knows me and he knows the way I work so I’m chuffed to bits to get him. He will be a big player for us to try and stay in this league. It is good that Chris knows the place and hopefully he will come in and perform like I know he can. Hopefully he will be a big player for us between now and the end of the season.”
