With all the hullabaloo surrounding the current Corona Virus it is easy to forget that 2020 is the year that the Latics will be celebrating their 125th year since their formation. The club are hoping to celebrate the history and memories over the years with all their fans. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that many of the scheduled events will now go ahead as planned.
The club would like to open to the fans with a plea to send in ideas, memories, videos, photos etc. that will help to record the momentous year so that it will not go unnoticed. Live podcasts with former players are planned to be sent out each Saturday at 3:00pm, details of which will follow. At a later date a special 125th anniversary kit for the new season will be produced by Hummel. Help to make this happen.
