Sunderland loan signing Oumare Tounkara scored the Latics second goal and his first goal in English football and admitted that he was delighted with the team's performance against Notts County. Tounkara said, "I am so happy and it is important for me to score my first goal. I saw the keeper off his line and thought I would try a shot and luckily it went in. It was important as it put us 2-0 ahead and it was nice to celebrate with the fans."
