Wayne Quinn on trial

Wayne (pictured) is friends with Oldham's latest outfield recruit, and it was through Lee that Quinn is now training at Latics. The pair have already played together at Newcastle and West Ham - could they make it three with Oldham Athletic?

Hopefully, as it seems that Quinn would be a good addition to the squad. He has represented England in under-21 and 'B' internationals. Still only 28, he is looking for a return to football after being released by West Ham in the summer.

Another trialist at Oldham currently is Dunkalk midfielder Simon Kelly. He has been described as a "revelation" since coming to the Irish Eircom League side. Watch this space....
