The weather continues to decimate the football calendar. With the home game against Leyton Orient postponed the next hope is that next Saturday's game at Stockport County will go ahead. With County sharing their ground with the eggchasers from Sale, the pitch gets cut up severely and the freezing weather is not kind to divots.
Athletic can just hope that the game goes ahead as the layoff will surely cause fixture problems down the road. Teams are struggling for cash also and with Stockport in a precarious financial position they will also be praying that the fixture gets the green light.
