Head coach Pete Wild is set to hold talks with the Latics’ owner about his future role at the club. He signed a deal to take over after Paul Scholes walked out and Wild agreed to take on the role until the end of the season.
He said, “Me and the owner have agreed that we’ll sit down, we’ll discuss what that means and we’ll discuss the way forward and take it from there. That suits me, that suits him so that’s fantastic.”
