Matty Wolfenden has signed a short-term deal at Athletic. The striker needs to show new boss Dave Penney just what he can do if he wants a longer deal. Wolfey will take part in pre-season training, friendly games and senior action during the period up to August.Alan Hardy told the official website, "We are delighted Matty has decided to sign this short-term deal. He now has the chance to prove his fitness during pre-season. This is also an opportunity for Matty to show his true value to the new manager during the pre-season games.
