The Latics hierarchy have decided that the Chaddy End will be allocated to away fans from the beginning of next season; the Rochdale Road End will be designated as the new 'home' end.
This decision has not been well received by the majority of the Chaddy End regulars, some of whom have been watching from there for over 50 years. There was some social media mention that a survey had been conducted but the majority of the Chaddy faithful have not been approached at all – some have mentioned that they will not be returning to Boundary Park because of the decision.
