Five Under 19 players have been offered professional contracts for the coming season. Adam Griffin, Scott Vernon and Danny Hall have just completed a scholarship with the club.

Griffin made his debut as a substitute in the final league game of the 2001-02 season against Q.P.R. but has not figured in the first team since. Vernon (pictured), on the other hand, has started three matches with a further five appearances as substitute and has scored three goals in the process. Hall has chipped in with two appearances this season as substitute (at Northampton Town and at home to Barnsley).

Danny Forde and Marc Tierney have both been on a non-contract basis for the last 12 months. Tierney has been in the first team squad but has not yet made an appearance. Forde was the Under 19's captain this season and the team won the Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division Two North Championship.
