Three more players, Danny Forde, Danny Hall and Marc Tierney have all put pen to paper on professional deals and Adam Griffin has agreed terms and is set to sign soon.

Iain Dowie commented, “We haven't seen much of Adam this year because he has been injured but the other three have featured prominently, particularly Danny Hall. He's done very well and we've got high hopes for Danny Forde and Marc Tierney (pictured). It's pleasing to get them underway and they can look forward to a couple of years of development. They're still a long way from being the finished product but it's good news for the club that young players like that want to be committed to us." "Danny Hall's done well. He's got great feet, fantastic passing ability and at 6'2", he's got size on his side. Danny Forde's a very composed lad who's got ability on the ball and tackles like a trojan and has good upper body strength. Marc Tierney is quick, a good defender, jumps well and has a good left foot. We all know about Adam anyway but hopefully we'll get him back after his injury and see the Adam that was very much a feature. The last time we went to Ireland, he was excellent but he went off the boil a bit last season but hopefully we can get him back to the Adam Griffin we all know and love.”
